Landmarks, Lakes, Rivers

  • Lake Huron has the longest shoreline of all of the Great Lakes, Lake Huron is one of the most unique Lakes on Earth. It is the second largest of the Great Lakes, and the fourth largest lake in the world by surface area. Rock collectors will truly appreciate this Lake. Huron is renowned for its beaches, sand dunes, wetlands, forests, and extensive river systems. Truly a paradise on Earth at some locations.

  • Lake Huron shares the lake's waters with the United States via the International Boundary

  • Grand Bend, Kincardine and Southampton are great locations to fish Lake Huron. Many charters are available and offer fishing for Salmon (Chinook, Coho, Pink, and Atlantic), Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout and Walleye.  

  • Tobermory is located at the northern tip of the Bruce Penninsula and connects Manitoulin via ferry. Tobermory is a major harbour with charters and guides offering day trips to fish the crystal clear waters of Lake Huron.
