Woodland Caribou Provincial Park - Access to the park is via float plane or canoe. The park is noted as a wilderness canoe destination, with over 2,000 kilometers (1,200 mi) of waterways that weave a pattern between large interconnected lakes and rivers. Located in the most SouthWestern part of OFM Zone 2.
Wabakimi Provincial Park - World-class wilderness canoeing, including over 2,000 kilometers of lake and river routes and some excellent whitewater. Massive amounts of remote wilderness with opportunities for wildlife viewing and sport fishing.The lands within and around Wabakimi are the traditional areas for several Indigenous communities.
Neskantanga First Nations - (formerly known as Lansdowne House Indian Band) is a remote Oji-Cree First nation band Government in the northern reaches of Ontario, situated along the shore of Attawapiskat in the district of Kenora. Neskantaga is a fly-in community and is therefore not accessible by year-round road.
